On October 8, 2016, the Globetrotter Project can share its concept, work and developments in "Story Telling" format, on a stage designed by IADE Lisboa, organic, sustainable and even within what is fundamental for the Project itself. Some longtime friends, such as Cláudia Meireles and Liliana Ribeiro, colleagues from Psychology, from the times of the University of Minho, Salomé, who was so inspiring and whom I met at the Feira Alternativa de Lisboa in July of the same year, Criança Pensa and Projeto Anam Cara, among other people interested in the theme and the Project. I still had the opportunity to share "area" with Chackall's Show Cooking neighbor, whom I admire so much! I still had the opportunity to review Susana Lourenço and meet a very interesting teacher on the Estoril Line, whose daughter lives in the German city of Karlsruhe. City where this design in draft began! There are no coincidences, right? Just Marvelous Encounters! Thank you all for the presence! Thank you to the organization of the Green Fest for the possibility of sharing the Project Globetrotter - Schools and Alternative Communities in the World.

    Hi there!
My name is Simone and I come from Portugal, but currently I am living in Austria. I am a Psychologist, specialized in Sport Psychology, but as well postgraduated in Waldorf Pedagogy. I was always curious about traveling abroad and living in other countries was always a goal for me to reach. After University, I decided to participate in diferent Youth Exchanges mainly in Europe, and as well to make a Leonardo Da Vinci in Italy, in the field of the Sport Psychology at the Unviersitá Degli Studi di Padova. After that I went to Germany to be an European Volunteer at  Parzivalschulen, a Waldorf School in Karlsruhe for one year long. Here I got to know diferent approaches to education, from Waldorf Pedagogy to Montessori and Forest Pedagogy. Since then I started to plan a way to find out, research and learn a bit more about alternative educational projects. I got the possibility to organize my own first travel and research project with a co-financial fund from the "Youth In Action Program",about alternative education in Europe. I started my journey through an Interrail with a global ticket for Europe, visiting Waldorf, Montessori and Forest Kindergartens and schools, some Ecovillages and other Projects that promote a sustainable lifestyle and an holistic education.I was travelling in diferent countries in Europe,  like Norway, Sweden, Finland,
Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland, France, Spain and Portugal. In the Summer of 2015, I started the visits worldwide, with a first experience and opportunity at the Green School Bali, in Indonesia, participating as a Volunteer. I
n the next years, the Globetrotter Project pretends to continue to travel and visit more Alternative Schools or Communities Worldwide.
